As we wrap up another year of business we must look at what expenses we have and where we can cut costs. Here is Part 2 of the 30 Free Business Tools for Real Estate! Cut some costs by using these free tools in your real estate business in 2014!

16. Google Analytics –  a powerful business tool! It tells you the interest level in your listings. Google Analytics can track how many visitors are being sent to you from Trulia, Zillow and Realtor.com. It can give you a lot of good information about the visitors on your website and Facebook page.  It reports what pages your visitors were interested in, how long they stayed, and where they come from.

18. Asana –“enables teamwork without email.” Asana is a free project management system allowing: teams, tasks and conversations to be all in one place!

19. YouTube – most agents use YouTube to upload videos of their listings, which is great for marketing. How about personal marketing? Jessica Edwards, Coldwell Banker Realtor, in Wilmington, NC, has used YouTube as part of her social media to brand herself as the car video blogger! She has gotten a lot of business from doing video blogs!

20. About.me – centralizes your online presence so people can easily find you and your business!

21. Yelp – “is an online urban city guide that helps people find cool places to eat, shop, drink, relax and play, based on the informed opinions of a vibrant and active community of locals in the know.” Read this blog post on Using Yelp for Real Estate, by Jason Cassity, a San Diego Agent.

22. Instagram – here is a post that gives you 26 tips for using Instagram in your business, by Social Media Examiner.

23. DropBox – what did we ever do before Drop Box? The “cloud” file hosting service that lets you share photos, documents and more, with your team and your Real Estate VA! Here’s a 2 minute You Tube video on how to share a DropBox folder.

24.  Trulia –  a free, real estate search site, helping buyers and sellers find agents and houses.  All you need to do is set up a profile, including a photo and your contact information. Get more online exposure and get more leads!

25.  Zillow – another search site that is free.  Just make sure your profile is filled out completely, so prospective clients can find you.

 26.  Skype – free videos, voice calls, instant messaging and file sharing with anyone else that is on Skype!  It’s a great and free way to communicate! Try it!

27. Rebel Mouse – connect all of your social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram to create a beautiful social front page, displaying your entire online presence! Check out My Rebel Mouse!

28. EchoSign – a free account allows 1 user, 5 transactions per month.  In three easy steps you can “take the hassle out of sending, signing, tracking and filing documents”. 

29. Postlets – are you using Postlets to create your classified listing? It’s really easy, the link tells you how.

30.  Quozio – do you love quotes, but aren’t sure how to make them? Quozio helps you turn those meaningful words into an image that you can post on Facebook, email or pin on Pinterest! This Quozio quote was made in 2 minutes and pinned onto my “Life Quotes” board on Pinterest!
